This article seeks to precisely determine the dramatic aesthetic that emerges from Tardieu’s theater columns published in Ce soir and Action between October 1944 and June 1947. In this period, he was not yet a playwright, but on the verge of becoming one. The paper also describes the critical poetics at work: a poethics based on accuracy and benevolence.
