Les Amies has long been hit by moral and aesthetic prejudices against lesbian poetry. I argue that this book should neither be considered a rewriting of Baudelaire’s lesbian texts nor a shy attempt of literary pornography but that it truly implies a philosophy of guiltless homosexuality.
