Who reads what ? Intended plurality of addressees in the epistolary votive of bishop Sidonius (Epist., II, 10)

In the v^th century AD, it was common practice among the high clergy to compose epigraphic dedications. Sidonius, however, does not limit himself to decorative stone epigraphs in situ, but popularises them among a widened readership by means of secondary publication within his epistolary corpus.
