Abstract: Would Sébastien Castellion, the humanist renowned for his stand against the execution of Michel Servet, have presented himself as an “apostle” of tolerance and freedom of conscience ? He was, above all, a teacher, translator, and writer. This book engages with this less explored aspect of his oeuvre.
