- Abstract: The paper aims to outline the reception of Italian poetry in Greece, evoking the most translated poets who have influenced the Greek literary world, though without pretension to be exaustive. Dante, Petrarca, Foscolo, Leopardi, Ungaretti, Quasimodo, Carducci, Marinetti, Luzi, Montale and Negri dominate among the Italian poets translated into Greek. Translations of Italian literary works offer a quite true picture of the Italian poetic production.
