Abstract: This panorama of Romanian poetry aims to promote to Francophone scholars and, by extension, to the peoples of Europe the cultural and spiritual side of Romanians, a European people present from the dawn of humanity. Despite the difference vis-à-vis « cultured » nations such as France, Italy and others, one will note that this small country (Romania) has hundreds of representative poets, apart from those occasionally scattered in journals and literary magazines.
