Abstract: One of the tools used by apprentice Albanian translators is the bilingual French-Albanian dictionary. This contribution seeks to show that there is a correlation between the almost exclusive, indeed unsystematic, use of this tool by third-year undergraduates, and the quality of translations, which is not always satisfactory.
