- Abstract: This essay studies the translation of the sacred in Ragnarök. The End of Gods, by the English novelist A. S. Byatt ((Canongate, 2011) / La Fin des dieux, trans. L. Petit and P. Bataillard (Flammarion, 2014)). This essay aims to show how Byatt tends to poetically manifest this sacredness more than she grasps it, thanks to the jubilatory power of the words and a rich intertext.
