AB  - Numerous publications of contemporary German poetry carry in their title a reference to nature. This observation is the basis for this article, both an attempt to study the relationship of the German tradition of Naturlyrik and to show the role that nature plays in contemporary German poetry. Particular attention is given to the relationship between nature and the specific poetic forms used in the poems by Ulrike Draesner, Marion Poschmann and Jan Wagner.
