AB  - European poetry travels toward the other along multiple paths. In this period of transition, where myths and values are constantly shifted and jostled, the voyage so evoked is assured. The lack of schools, the number of little-known journals, the groups formed only to be undone, the role of certain poets : these are paradoxicially a sign of vitality. Poetry stands at the center of life. We must remain optimistic about the future of the poetry in Europe, an optimism that derives from the poets, the researchers and, too, from the believers in, and adherents to, the poetic art form.
