AB  - This paper provides a summary presentation of “Ultraism”, an avant-garde movement which marked a turning point in Spanish poetry of the twentieth century. In this light, the author takes into account and prioritizes pertinent Manifestos, which have suffered from critical neglect. The goal here is to discern how these Manifestos adhere to the so-called rules of the genre, which in turn, reveal and explain the specificity of the “Ultraist” movement.
