AB  - Jan Zahradníček, a spiritual and complex author, is one of the most signifiant Czech Catholic poets. Zahradníček’s poetic temperament was similar to Cladel’s, some of his reflections and lectures focused on Cladel, and he also translated a selection of Claudel’s poems into Czech. The paper shows Claudel’s influence on various layers of Zahradníček’s writing.
