AB  - Le Prince de Beaumont is the author of the Magasins, in which dialogues between a governess and her charges alternate with short forms which have a moral objective and can or not contain fairy tale elements. The Magasins also comprise other short stories based on a realistic approach. She uses novels, short tales published in periodicals or even accounts of legal affairs to write her « histoires » and transmit moral teachings. These texts help understand the type of education she dispensed.
