AB  - Involved with the theatrical avant-garde of the 1950s, Schehadé created a dramatic universe in which the imaginary is king. He stages the dream (L’Emigré de Brisbane, Histoire de Vasco), the irrationality of fantasy (Monsieur Bob’le), and the nightmare (La Soirée des proverbes, Les Violettes). Using stage effects linked to pantomime, shadow plays, music, and the unreality of the gesture, Schehadé’s theatre shows the other side of reality and explores the inner world.
