AB  - Better known as the deputy of the Empire who protested against the restriction of freedoms, the president of the first two Restoration Assemblies, Lainé, played a crucial role in the application of the Charta, and its practical application in exceptional situations. Succeeding the ephemeral presidents of the Revolutionary Assemblies, Lainé managed to make a place for the presidency of the Chamber of Deputies which became a space of debate and freedom within a limited monarchy.
