AB  - In the work of Puech, the nobiliary imaginary affects the way in which the writer transposes his biography and literary practice. Nobility is a way to link fictional devices and their value systems. This is testified to by the treatment of three masculine figures whose relationship with the writer has changed dramatically in circumstances which take the form of essential scenes: the (non-) meeting with the father of the beloved; the discussion with des Forêts; and the argument between the writer’s father and his stepfamily.
