AB  - This contribution studies the circulation and use of information by two French consuls in Tunis, Mathieu de Lesseps (1827-1832) and Alexandre Deval (1832-1836), and the network of information they established at the heart of the Regency’s court. Following alterations in Franco-Algerian relations, it was through Tunis that information concerning the situation in the Regency of Alger was relayed.
