AB  - This article seeks to demonstrate that, in Political Liberalism, Rawls adopts a perfectionist conception of justice. The sense of justice is not only the disposition to respect the principles of justice but also a disposition to practise the democratic virtues required by political liberalism. It is not conceived as an instrumental disposition required for the stability of a just society but as an intrinsic good which citizens must exercise and develop for its own sake.
