AB  - This study focuses on increasingly popular strategic or adventure video games that have also attracted the interest of university study albeit primarily Anglo-Saxon. Yet in the vast industry of video games, it is surprising to note the dearth of allusions to the French Revolution. This quasi-absence of Revolutionary allusions would thus reveal, between the lines, real ideological or cultural “positions” that are seemingly relevant to decipher and understand.
