AB  - The case of the printings attributed to Jean Nourse is even more interesting than the idea that this putative English publishing house originates in a partial usurpation of the identity of a real London bookseller, John Nourse (1705-1780). This article analyzes the strategies of production and dissemination as it attempts to uncover the networks in France and Holland that had recourse to this printer’s fictive identity to market their publications.
