AB  - This study considers the place occupied by clandestine philosophical literature at the court of Gotha and, more precisely, the role of epistolary networks in the constitution of a philosophical library. The Duchess of Gotha Louise-Dorothée maintained several correspondences, the analysis of which allows an appreciation of the evolution, if not of her faith, at least her interest in deism, the materiality of the soul, and various traditional critiques of Christianity.
