AB  - According to Michel Houellebecq, “individualism is a catastrophe”. Several studies have already considered the degradation of the individual in his work. In this examination of the unity of his writing, the theme of the abrasion of identity is extended to include the notion of infinite mobilisation as defined by the philosopher Peter Sloterdijk. It will also consider the notion of fatigue, which follows logically from the first concept.
