AB  - During Dmitri’s trial (The Karamazov Brothers), the prosecutor and the defense attorney develop opposite and conjectural accounts of the murder, each one being discredited as a romance by the other. The reader can compare their accounts with the main narrative, and be judge of their respective failings. Yet, as the truth of the events is left in the dark by an unreliable narrator, who let only partial information filter, he is confronted too with the limits of interpretation.
