AB  - The way in which M. de La Porte treats nominal expansions in Ronsard’s Hymnes (1555-1556) in his Epithetes (1571) is considered through the twin approaches of digital corpus manipulation and literary analysis. The systematic confrontation of the corpora which this allows throws light on the properly literary work of the lexicographer, regarding the selection and repartition of data as much as its interpretation, and illuminating in particular the work carried out on periphrases.
