AB  - The Liber testamentorum ecclesiæ ouetensis is a cartulary composed around 1120 and conserved in the cathedral of Oviedo. It constitutes one element in a propaganda operation initiated by the Bishop Arias. The manuscript gathers together a collection of documents. It adds credibility to certain forgeries which sought to affirm the link between the kings and the territory of Asturias, when recapture had moved the former capital of the Asturias far from the new centres of power.
