Exploiting her own physical flaws, she develops a body “manifesto”, responding to the canons of a silhouette that increasingly challenge everyday behaviour. The contribution unfolds the context of critical references, literary and cultural imaginations and body techniques that have contributed to the definition of her icon status in a continuous interplay between (self)representations and intimate perception of the body.
