AB  - Based on a corpus that brings together different adaptations, this study takes adaptation to be a progressive process of transformation involving the invariant (the narrative material that gives structure to the work) and the variant (the new presentation of a work). This reconfiguration of the source text is built around the paradigm of the œuvre (its mythological substructure), the communicational modalities of cinema, and the ideological context of films.
