AB  - Since Iranian and French young-adult literature occupy very different places in their respective polysystems, there are numerous difficulties when translating what is sacred in the Persian language into French. A sample group of five novels has been chosen. The place and the reception of these works in the Iranian ­context will be discussed. The translatability of the notion of the sacred will then be examined.
