AB  - Alexandra David-­Néel’s French translation of a poem attributed to the sixth Dalai Lama seems to shed light on his “profane” dimension. In order to transcend this dualist vision, and with an orientation toward translation, the author proposes a syntactical and lexicological reading of the source ­text’s socio-anthropological dimension.
