AB  - The two Russian revolutions occupy a marginal place among the articles of the Mercure de France. However, when they are mentioned, Dumur’s main thesis is borne out: the general denunciation of Germany’s influence in Swiss domestic affairs. Within this framework, according to Dumur, the rising power of the Bolsheviks and then the peace initiatives bear the mark of the Reich. Is this interconnection marked by the two revolutions of 1917 and by a focus on Swiss life politically germane?
