AB  - The relationship between geographical displacement and the dispensing of politico-moral lessons is at the center of this analysis Philippe de Mézières’ Songe du viel pelerin (1386-1389) and Christine de Pizan’s Livre du chemin de lonc estude (1402). While Christine in the Chemin travels through the world as a tourist and postpones her political didacticism until she and her guide reach the heavens, the pilgrim in the Songe uses each geographical location for explicit political discussions.
