AB  - Bataille is not a philosopher, as he seems to be closer to Aristide than Aristotle. His eroticism dos not open into a fusion but it is rather the unavowable enigma. The latter, however, has nothing to do with ­community defined as such by Blanchot, even though it is the ­community of lovers. The truth of Bataille, speaking out through his awkward language now pornographic, now obscene, cannot be associated with any form of eroticism.
