AB  - By reconnecting the notion of forgetting to the primary Western ­conception of truth (aléthéia) as a wrench from the liquid process of recollecting (le Léthé), this article shows how the theoretical tradition of rationalist thought never ceases to reanimate this foundational epistemological motif.
