Abstract: This work focuses on the tropisms and Hebraisms which constitute the fundamental sources of French humanism, notably introduced by the poets of the Pléiade, François I, Paolo Paradisi, Michel de Montaigne, André du Laurens, Léon L'Hébreu, and Pontus de Tyard.
