- Abstract: Aware of the weight of the metaphysical complaint expressed in Sanglot de la terre, Laforgue retains its intellectual foundation, marked in particular by the influence of Schopenhauer and Hartmann, but develops in his following collections a parodic approach to philosophical references and vocabulary. This writing strategy, which reflects the evolution of his poetics, leads Laforgue to examine in great depth the possibilities of language and its relationship to the real.
