• Abstract: In a film from the Greffulhe family dating from 1904, created on the occasion of the marriage of Armand de Guiche, a close friend of Marcel Proust, and Elaine Greffulhe, the daughter of the Count Henry Greffulhe, we are led to admire the aristocracy of the Saint-Germain district. We are in the world of the Guermantes, a realm of pomp and wealth. A man in an original outfit moves down the red carpet. This text shows that this specter is none other than Proust and this film is the first in which he appears.
