- Abstract: The beginning of Albertine disparue describes the suffering of separation. A violent “immanent third party” tears the subject between a phusis of pain and a logos of lucidity. The Theory of Enunciative Instances (Coquet) identifies the important semiotic forms, letting the translation rearrange the original structure, the ethos of the agents, their relations, and the nuances of their semantic auras. The comparison and evaluation of two Polish versions is founded on this (Zurowski 1979 and Tulli 2001).
