- Abstract: The author analyses Un amour de Swann in Turkish by way of the cultural history of Turkey. More specifically, she studies the different semiotic universes constructed by three translations: the translations by Yakup Kadri Karaosmanoğlu, Tahsin Yücel, and Roza Hakmen. She examines the way in which the Proustian signs are interpreted and resituated in translation, from the titles (p. 235) to the semiotic universe in its entirety (see p. 437).
