Abstract: The OVS syntax of Korean does not serve Proustian rhythms well. In Korean descriptions, effects of perceptive progression are often upside down, if the entire syntactical economy is not artificially remodelled. Anaphora must be adapted, and personal pronouns replaced by proper nouns or definite expressions, in order to avoid imprecisions and also to regulate the repetition of relative pronouns by way of expedients, as these upset the Korean rhythm.
