Abstract: In this work is edited and translated for the first time the commentary of the Prophetia Merlini kept at Trinity College, Dublin, which originated probably in a Benedictine abbey in Norfolk. The edition is accompanied by a substantial historical annotation, which shows how the commentator approached the text.
