Abstract: This study examines the « unique book » project, of excessive proportions, conceived by poet Claude Gauvreau, and which forced the posthumous publication of his Œuvres créatrices complètes, leading to new paradigms within the field of cultural modernism and the transformation of Quebec’s art scene and multidisciplinary artistic practice in the 1970’s.
