- Abstract: Within the framework of Carel’s and Ducrot’s Semantic Block Theory (SBT), this article proposes a semantic and argumentative analysis of the syntagms mujer fácil / femme facile [easy woman] and hombre fácil / homme facile [easy man] in Spanish as well as in French, in order to show the part these expressions can play in a persuasive strategy.
