- Publication type: Article from a collective work
- Collective work: Paul Claudel et la Bohême. Dissonances et accord
- Author: Zatloukal (Jan)
- Abstract: This article considers the relationship between Paul Claudel and the Czech writer Jan Čep. Effectively, this translates as a short epistolary exchange which took place during an agitated period of European history. Contact, interrupted by the Second World War, was only re-established in 1951. The article also demonstrates the way in which Claudel’s life and work are reflected in Čep’s œuvre.
