• Abstract: A part of the former activists of the Jeunesse agricole catholique (1929/1933-1961/1963), a widespread organization in Brittany, took a left political turn in the ­1960’s and ­70’s. When this turn occurred, the social-catholic message seems to have been less determining than the apprenticeship of a militant experience or the encouragement to analyse its background and to help the city in the general ­context of secularization and reshuffling of the left.
