- Abstract: The Bible is the primary matrix for the evangelical discourse jointly constructed by the network of innovators led by Marguerite de Navarre. The article examines the way in which biblical innutrition privileges the reuse of metaphors drawn from Scripture to accompany the gesture of the Evangelicals. It also demonstrates the processes structuring canonical metaphors; finally, it unveils the interpretative process of the metaphorical games set in motion by the key expression vive foy.
