- Abstract: Assez parlé d’amour by Hervé Le Tellier is –it has been said– a “love story and nonetheless very Oulipien”. This article investigates the construction of the novel and the “Oulipien” processes which allow the author to eschew convention, avoid all sentimentalism, and explore amorous feelings in a skilful and subtle game which fuses levity, gravity, irony, and humour.
