Abstract: In Récit de l’an zéro, the paradox of a form of writing which moves from the semiotics of a temporal genre to a premeditated removal from any inscription within a precise temporal context begins. There is a hinge between the transversal linguistic component (the narrative), the poetic mode which welcomes it, and theatricality. Transgenerecity is in question in the game of (re)presenting the Biblical fable of the birth of Jesus that Schehadé transgresses so as to prophesise a new story.
