- Abstract: Created in 2006, the play Bi-tvah Yerika (“Nearby”) by Taher Najib won first prize at the Tel-Aviv monodrama festival Teatro Netto. Translated into English, French, and German, it met with success on numerous international tours. The author translates the play into Palestinian Arabic, a translation which partakes fully in the process of creation, as it does in the construction of its message, particularly in the specific context of the Israeli-Palestinian stage.
