Abstract: This work brings to light 120 previously unpublished letters sent from Pellisson-Fontanier to the abbé Boisot at the time Franche-Comté was annexed to France. Their correspondence is interspersed with that of Mademoiselle de Scudéry and the same abbé Boisot. It is enriched by the republication of letters written by the learned of the province.
