Abstract: Considering the specific rapports that Greek space entertains with the tragic theatre of Antiquity, this article compares variations in the articulation of poetic expression and the way a place is configured by significant mythological and dramatic references in the contemporary era. It studies the functioning of poetic speech as a vector for another conception of the tragic, in particular in the poetry of G. Séféris.
